Can I bring my baby to the sessions?

Yes, absolutely. We are very baby-friendly!

We understand that arranging childcare isn’t always possible (or you may simply want your baby close), so infants are welcome in both in-person and telehealth sessions. We encourage you to do whatever makes you most comfortable.

Many mothers choose to bring their newborn along – you might need to feed or settle them during the appointment, which is completely fine. Other parents prefer to have sessions alone if they can arrange a babysitter, as they find it easier to focus on therapy without distraction. Both choices are valid.

Our psychologists are used to the sounds and interruptions that come with babies; we don’t mind pausing if you need to attend to your little one. If your baby gets fussy or you need to change a diaper mid-session, we’ll happily pause and resume – your session time is for you, and we’re flexible in making it work.

For older babies or toddlers, you may want to bring along a toy or snack to keep them occupied, or consider whether an online session during naptime could be easier.

Ultimately, we respect your needs and wishes – do what’s best for you.
