What are your fees? How does bulk billing work at Mums Matter?

We strive to keep our services affordable. For clients with a current Mental Health Care Plan, we offer bulk-billed sessions – meaning Medicare covers the session cost, so you pay no out-of-pocket fee. This applies for up to 20 sessions in total (across your total time with Mums Matter) with our service. (Medicare rebates 10 sessions per year so 20 sessions must be used over multiple calendar years).

After you have received 20 bulk-billed sessions with us, any further sessions will incur a gap feeIn other words, you would pay a session fee and then receive a Medicare rebate back into your bank account.
After 20 sessions, there is an out-of-pocket cost of about $75 per session.

We will always discuss this with you when you approach the bulk-billing limit. If you don’t have a Medicare card or Mental Health Care Plan, you can still see us privately.
